Public Art

The Inverness Public Art Programme aims to create opportunities for artists and communities to participate in the design, look and feel of our city. A wide range of city improvements and developments are scheduled for the next few years, each making an important investment in public art that will help bring art into everyday life and help give a sense of the city's identity.

The Programme includes:
INVERNESS OLD TOWN ART

ART in the CENTRE FOR HEALTH SCIENCE

ART on NESS ISLANDS.

“This is a beautiful city that’s at an exciting juncture in its development. My hope is that we can develop a diverse portfolio of public art that enhances and reflects what Inverness is all about.” - Evi Westmore, Public Art Coordinator for Inverness October 2005 to March 2007.
